Key accomplishments for Ms. Benini over her career in business continuity
Ms. Benini’s major achievements were developing policy, standards, guidelines and templates for the BC Government when she was employed as their Senior Advisor of the Business Continuity Management Program. During her employment with the BC Government from Oct 2001-Jan 2008, she was instrumental with advancing the business continuity program forward and preparing ministries for dealing with major business interruptions.
- 2014: Received her certification as a qualified instructor for ContinuityLink.
- 2014: Received her certification as a qualified instructor from Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) for instruction on ISO 23301 Societal Security Lead Implementer.
- 2014: Received her certification as a qualified instructor from Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
- 2014: Received a certificate from Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) as an ISO 22301 Societal Society – Business Continuity Management System Lead Implementer.
- 2014: Received a certificate as an AFBCI (Associate Fellow) from Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
- 2014: Received a certificate in Emergency Management from Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC).
- 2010: Received the highest honours in business continuity profession, with a Master certification, MBCP, from DRI International.
- 2008: Recognized by DRI Canada for her outstanding training services and the promotion of the Business Continuity Profession to Canadians.
- 2008: Qualified as an instructor for the Justice Institute of BC (JIBC) where she co-authored and teaches the EM-170: Introduction to Business Continuity course as part of the Emergency Management Certificate Program.
- 2002: Qualified as an instructor for DRI International and DRI Canada, and has taught business continuity courses across North America.
- 2002: Received her certification in Risk Management under the Canadian Risk Management Council of Risk and Insurance Management Society.
- 1998: Achieved her certification in business continuity profession, CBCP, from DRI International.
- 1991: Attended one of the first Canadian Business Continuity Courses from DRI International.
